Metronome, tuner and piano

MetronomePro

A sample-accurate click with tap tempo. Switch it to Silent and it makes no sound at all, marking the beat with a pulse around the edge of the page; the first beat of the bar pulses stronger.

One beat for the whole ensemblePro

Ensemble Sync locks every player’s device to the same beat, so the whole group hears the click, not only whoever sits nearest the phone. The others join with a code.

CueFlip on iPad Pro and iPhone together, each with the metronome open over the score at 60 BPM. On the iPad, Tempo Trainer climbs from 60 to 95 BPM, 5 BPM every 4 bars, and Ensemble Sync is hosting one other device; on the iPhone in front, Ensemble Sync reads ±1 ms and the metronome is playing with the group.

TunerPro

A chromatic tuner that reads to a tenth of a cent, at the concert pitch you set, and says in words which way to tune.

CueFlip’s tuner on iPad Pro and iPhone together. On the iPad, over the score, the tuner has turned green: A, 440.00 Hz, +0.0 cents, In tune. On the iPhone in front, dark, the reference pitch is being set to 442 Hz, beside presets of 415, 440, 443 and 444.

PianoPro

A keyboard you can play inside the reader: check a chord, find a starting note, sound an interval. Play it by touch, from a MIDI keyboard, or from a computer keyboard.

CueFlip’s piano on iPad Pro, held landscape: a black lid with CueFlip in gold, two octaves of keys from C3 to C5 with a few held down, and the Sustain and Glissando switches.
